Princess Eggs and other Easter Fancies

Last year, I spent the holiday dyeing Easter eggs with 1st graders in the Bronx using good old-fashioned vinegar and food coloring. This year is just as fun with my mom instead of 15 youngsters, but we decided to add the one ingredient I wouldn't dare share with school kids. Glitter!

That's right, glitter- every teacher's nightmare.


We had a blast.




And aren't they pretty?
We also made chocolate-dipped strawberries for church refreshments (and made us very popular amongst parishioners).






On to eating my way through Colorado ....
